A Local Team, Right on Your Doorstep

We are based at West Wheatley on Westwood Lane, and everything we collect is hand-sorted at our permitted site in Longdown. Both are a short run from Ide, which means quick deliveries, quick collections and drivers who already know the lanes.

Being local matters more here than most places. Ide has narrow approaches, tight turnings and limited on-street parking, and a national operator working off a postcode alone will not know that until the lorry is halfway down the road. Ours do.

Throw and Tow also offer Same Day Skips to:

Dunsford
Longdown
Kenn
Kennford
Tedburn Saint Mary
Whitestone

And many more locations around the village.

Looking for Household and Garden Clearance in Ide?

Most of our Ide work is domestic. House moves, loft and garage clear-outs, kitchen and bathroom rip-outs, and the pile of odds and ends that builds up over a decade.

Our domestic waste removal service takes the lifting off your hands entirely if you would rather not load a skip yourself. For hedge cuttings, turf, prunings and general green waste, our garden waste removal is the simpler route, and all of it goes for composting or chipping rather than to landfill.

Before you start loading, have a look at what can I put in a skip

Where does this waste go?

Nothing we collect in Ide goes to landfill. Ever.

Everything is hand-sorted at our Longdown facility, and from there:

Green waste goes for composting
Woody material is chipped for mulch and biomass
Soil is stockpiled for reuse
Hardcore is crushed back into local construction supply
Anything still usable is donated to local and international charities

We are registered with the Environment Agency as an Upper Tier Waste Carrier and Dealer, registration number CBDU298740, so your duty of care paperwork is covered.

Ordered a few slips from Steve now. Nothing is too much trouble. Great advice on skip sizes for the job and access. Really helpful drivers who’ll put the skip exactly where you want it (within reason of course) and can get a skip delivered with a day or 2.
Will definitely keep on using them.

Fantastic service from this company, I ordered a skip at around 6pm and they delivered it the next morning! Super polite and friendly staff and was the cheapest around. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant company. Asked for a morning delivery and it arrived at 8.25am. Two weeks later (you can request an earlier collection if required) it is picked up and taken away. Both delivery guys were lovely, and the guys I spoke to on the telephone in the office were really lovely as well. I felt that I mattered to this company. Would 100% recommend this company to anyone. Brilliant service (with a smile!) 😉 Thank you

I needed a skip for general household rubbish and called Throw & Tow, it was delivered bang on time, with a call from the driver to confirm the delivery and when full it was collected as promised.

Both drivers were polite & friendly can’t ask for much more!

Genuinly one of the best companies I've worked with. Steve was incredibly helpful. We ended up in a sticky situation which required 2 rubble skips on the same day, and for these guys it was no problem. Spoke to Steve at 8:30 and the skips were on site before 10:00. The driver was extremely polite too. If we're ever down this way again, we will 100% use them again.
