Charity Donations From Throw & Tow Eco Skips Devon

Where Do We Send Your Waste?

Once we hand sort the items within your skips these are then divided and sent to the following places:

• Toys and clothes are sent to charities, both here in Devon and in Ukraine. The items kept in Devon are dropped off with local charities, where they are then washed and sent to shops or people in need. We recently sent a container of stuffed toys and clothing to those impacted by the war in Ukraine.
• Shoes and bedding are donated to the Salvation Army.
• We work closely with the homeless in Exeter and help to ensure any coats or appropriate clothing are distributed amongst the homeless.
• Rubble and building supplies are made into aggregates.
• We also work closely with men’s mental health charity ‘Men in Sheds‘ donating our time, resources and other items collected from our skips to some of the ‘sheds’ in our local communities, which the charity and those who spend time in the ‘sheds’ could benefit from.
